Dimmed Aphelion was doomed unless he could find a host. Unbound, he roamed Paragon City, seeking his salvation. Aphelion refused to force himself on the humans - he could not bring himself to continue what had been a long chain of unwilling hosts. Nevertheless, time was his enemy, and he sought quickly the nearest, healthiest candidate: a young adult human male residing in Skyway City. Viktor Volesky.
