Very little is known about the being called Beauregard, including her real name, and part of that is because she can never truly give a straight answer. Whether she's mentally ill and incapable of putting her thoughts together or just unwilling to give an actual answer, it's nigh impossible to find out any concrete details about who she was before she donned the mask.

Beauregard doesn't consider herself to be, by definition, insane; she's wrong, but still you have to respect her desire to identify herself and put forth the person she thinks she is, right? With a penchant for ultra-violence and the attention span of two walnuts held together with duct-tape, she's far from a hero and even further from what society would consider at all normal.

Trying to reason with Beau will often lead to cyclical arguments and her eventually getting bored and starting to torment either the person she's in an argument with or some random bystander by trying to draw on their face with markers, prod them with what seems to be an inactive cattle prod, or some other form of nuisance. In truth, the best way to deal with Beau is to either let her do her own tangent or, to be fair, not at all. Like dealing with a toddler having a tantrum, ignoring her will eventually net the result of her going away... however long it might take.

As much as it's easy to try and shove Beauregard into a box, she eschews what's considered mainstream for heroics or villainous acts; instead, she seems to act with very little regard to morality at all, something akin to Chaotic Neutral and preferring to get violent to being diplomatic. COSTUMES, PROPS, AND SHENANIGANS
As far as the story goes, Beauregard chose her name when she found a custodian's jacket with it patched on the front; she decided she liked it and ran with it. Sometimes this jacket features in her outfits and is considered 'lucky' but is covered in bullet holes and other signs that it might not, in fact, be lucky at all. She likes to implement different things on different days, sometimes dressing up (lazily) as a cherub, complete with papier mâché wings and little arrows that she plinks people with. One thing that seems to thrum with actual power is the mask she always wears, a serious artifact in a slew of otherwise comedic arsenal.
WEAPONS & GADGETS
The term "gadgets" might be strong here, but Beau does have quite the collection of random objects she (or Humor) have tinkered in to being dangerous. Her weapon of choice, however, is a large mallet she stole from a carnival down in New Orleans one year on a carnage bender after drinking expired kombucha. She's plastered it with stickers, nails, staples, glitter, blood, and various other bric-a-brac and calls it Bruce. Beau also has a gun that she'll whip out from time to time and faux hold people up (well, sometimes faux) and it might even shoot bullets, who knows!
SAFE AS HOUSES
With herself and Humor combining their various safehouses, both of them now have an actual over-abundance of hideouts, places of work, and just general properties: an abandoned carnival ground, an abandoned cat sanctuary complete with stray cats; a bunker left over from the bomb scares of years ago; a bomb testing site abandoned and denounced by the government; six hotels that are purportedly haunted that they got for a steal; a former tailor shop that was abandoned because of a little fire that Joke might have started... safe as houses, bitches.
