Ron started out as a mutant Outcast teen with unusual psionic abilities, now reformed after leaving the gang in chaos. Some early criminal record.

He is a very calm - almost unnaturally calm person.

Negative emotions are usually expelled externally with his mutant ability, producing psychic, pyrokinetic, and telekinetic effects. Previously enrolled in Steel Canyon University, Paragon Gym, and meditation classes.

Hooks: Younger edge of the law super that might go bad, looking for martial arts training, meditation, psionic, or mutant support groups.

Edit:

He went bad. Wanted for questioning for possible involvement in Rikti weapons usage and attack on Longbow forces. Power used in attack fit his power on registry, but not conclusive. Currently not worth pursuing due to risk of operations in the Isles. Investigation on hold.

Powers update:

Currently on mutant power suppression drugs. Unknown negative side effects. No powers other than above average build due to workouts, well trained natural fighting skills, and equipment.

Story Bio

"I mean, it's a job... not my first choice admittedly."

Ronnie says offhand. The cops and security guards are now screaming and holding their heads, or attacking each other.

"Oh hang on a sec"

Ron holds a hand out towards a cop that turned his way with a shotgun, and the man crumples to the ground, a shimmering purple force around him pressing inwards.

"I can do a bit of telekinesis too, but I'm not very good at it. Can't move things, but it's great for crushing beer cans"

A cop begins shooting his patrol car while screaming "I hate cops!" and then turns the gun on a partner.

Ronnie makes a casual gesture of agreement in his direction.

"See, yeah. Not so much I hate cops, but society put me in this position. You make one mistake as a mutant with psi, they track you forever. I tried getting a legit job but.."

Ronnie's face shows intense anger, but then immediately calms as a shimmering vaguely humanoid form of telekinetic energy - anger - forms and with a wordless scream begins attacking.

"Yeah around my teens I began to be able to get rid of negative emotions. Push them onto other people, or form... things. Anger is pretty big these days. Worry is getting small. Guess I'm doing ok."

Ron roundhouse kicks two remaining cops.

"Guess we are done here!"

Hooks: Extremely strong psi aura that can slip out. Minor criminal record. FBSA registered mutant. Looking for martial arts training, meditation, psionic, or mutant support groups.

No special psionic protection other than normal meditation mental training and difficulty reading due to loud and multiple psionic auras focused on individual emotions.

Ronnie is being played with the idea that interactions with other characters will cause major changes in his life, and these will be played out.

In game life event diary

Applied and rejected from some blueside groups.

Visited Isles, invited to Frankie's bar by Olivia, met Black Hand Society members.

Eventually joined Black Hand Society.

Spotted with illegal Rikti weapons and tracked by Longbow psionically.

Too much heat traveling back and forth from Paragon to the Isles, permanently moved to the Isles.

Mr Frost offered to have contacts attempt to hack Longbow/FBSA files on Ronnie to take heat off him. ((Limited success assumed.))

Still has minimal control of psionic powers. Some headaches and nose bleeds.

King has previously offered help from his lab, but Ronnie has not been able to visit it.

Bought his first nice suit. A large step for someone that grew up poor, and at times homeless.

Went to Black Friday several times. Extremely impressed. Convinced he is living the good life now. +power control point.

Was personally greeted by owner of Black Friday. High rolling life.

Was severely injured by OP security drones in Warburg. -power control point.

Made friends with co-worker Kayako / Bleed out, attempted to help.

A girl in a club hit on him, had a nice date (?). Discussed importance of uniqueness. +power control point.

Idea for solo investigating Crey industries internally.

Mentioned this to a variety of people over a week.

People that said trying to infiltrate Crey as a mutant with barely controlled powers is a terrible idea = 0

People that said "Wait-- you actually got a job there? That's dedication to your casework." = 1

Got "Crey Employee Badge" as day job.

Rolled 1d20 for results of investigations and to see if Ronnie was discovered. Rolled a 20. ((!))

Results of 20: Ronnie won "Lab Tech of the month" for an idea for streamlining a sampling process, inspired by Grant Garrett's praise of his hard work. Got info on a lead: Dr. Murphy Williams has been working on a biotech implant specialized on power control derived from Rikti biotech at a Nerva Crey facility. Not exactly what is needed, but promising.

Sideline research of magical equipment to keep up with everyone while powers are unavailable. Harvested a large amount of Hellfrost demon crystal, experimenting with psi crystal from Serafina's pit.

Continuing to track Crey researcher and gather info.

Assassination attempt

Attacked with something that was not a weapon, but hit Ronnie's vulnerability perfectly. A psi booster. His powers went out of control, possibly permanently damaging his control. Immediately solidified 10+ negative emotions and phobias into physical form, overloading his brain causing a seizure, and then coma.

• Horror Frost saved him by using proper seizure first aid

The attacker was a rogue Longbow agent bent on revenge after the agent's squad shot each other due to Ronnie's powers.

• Spitting Cobra immediately shot the attacker's leg, preventing escape.
• The attacker was interrogated by Kayako/Bleed Out and Horror Frost.
• Attacker mobile device hacked by Wirewitch, and event covered up.
• Tortured in an olfactory manner by Ratbag.
• Eliminated by Kayako/Bleed out. Body disposed of.
• Medically treated by Malcom King, "King Lizard" with a mutant power suppressant drug. He immediately awoken from his coma - with no powers at all.

Recovery:

• Began taking King's mutant power suppression medication, until permanent solution is found. Unknown long term side effects.
• Missed one dose, went into a coma again, with purple psionic sparks around his head. Will avoid this in the future.
• Just after hospital discharge, was tempted into a healthy meal, and actually properly eating even though his powers are not demanding mass calories; at Black Friday. Credits: Six and Martine. +1 health.
• Equipped up with military gear and light body armor, and contributing to the group effectively, but still not an idea situation for him.
