Anything given to her becomes greyscale while in her "ownership."

Decades ago, spells were placed to keep watch on the beaches and the "Human encroachment into the seas."

Cindy Falstaff happened to be doing a photo shoot near the Boardwalk at the time. Unbeknownst to her, the spell captured her and the photo then being taken. That photo shoot followed her throughout her life, one shot in particular being considered a "classic" and republished often. Not that she minded - she happily autographed the photos when someone recognized her, and she certainly wasn't turning down the royalties when they were republished. When Cindy finally passed in 2006, a copy of that photo was one of the things on her grave.

Now, other spells by the Shapers have taken effect, spells that go beyond watching to actually protecting the beaches. They've caught several of the lingering magics in their wake... one of them tied to Cindy's photo. Cindy, in vivid greyscale, has awoken in a new world. Escaping from the incredulous archivist and security guards, she's run to the only place she knows, the one magic has tied her to - the beaches and boardwalk of Paragon. There, she works to protect the beaches she loved and that made her famous.

Notes: Skin, if examined closely, shows a fine film grain. Anything she owns or is given turns greyscale. Bright red lipstick? Grey. Yellow polka dot bikini? Grey with lighter grey/white dots.
