An atheist is a person who does not harbour religious faith, or belief in any theological system/afterlife. For the purposes of City of Heroes - where most mythologies seem to have some grain of truth, but none can be demonstrated as completely true - it would more likely indicate an "antitheist". Such a character refuses to acknowledge the authority or supremacy of any spiritual/deific figure or system, regardless of whether or not they seem to exist.

This category need not include every character who is ambivalent or unconvinced about the existence of deities, but rather should be used for characters whose non-belief is a defining aspect of who they are.
