In the City of Heroes universe, being a hero typically means that this character either lives in or commutes to Paragon City and fights crime. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, all species and genders, and all sorts of funny colors like orange and pink. Typically, heroes wear costumes, some of which are more for looks, and some which are helpful in combat. Some heroes don't wear a costume at all, preferring to simply wear their normal clothing. Or fight crime naked in some strange cases...
