General Description
The Squirrels are Rata and Toskr, a pair of artificially-enhanced rodents that escaped from a laboratory somewhere in Eastern Europe, stealing a nuclear-powered battlesuit on the way out.
Rata and Toskr argue a lot, and don't believe magic is real.

Super-rodentine intelligence. (They are often not terribly bright by human standards.)

Recent Events
The Squirrels' primary motivation is getting more nuts. Towards this end, they've often teamed up with the Wasted Youth, who bribe them with cashews.
The Squirrels' lackluster care for their powersuit nearly caused a nuclear meltdown, which was averted by Techlord and Curie Critical.
