Killian was a very gifted child at birth, with doctors clocking in his intellect at 240 on the IQ scale, he was different than everyone else. His father, the CEO and owner of Witchwood Engineering back in England and his mother, Siobhan is a bio-engineer of the same company, weren't aware how gifted he was until he was able to move and talk on his own.
Killian, at age four, created his first invention, Nano-Weave. A metal that can be malleable but maintain a rigidity, able to make physical objects that are tough and not need repair. With this knowledge, Kllian made his best and only friend, his robot butler the aptly named J33-V35 Seneschal Robot "Jeeves". Winning at school projects in elementary school, potentially skipping grades.
At twelve, he was already a senior in a prestigious high school, without any friends to relate to he brought Jeeves along and related to the robot more; all those people, all those faceless beings made him feel ostracized. He perfected his abilities in nano-technology and creates a digitization storage in something he calls Nano-Emitters. With this he could store up to several tons as the objects are basically broken down into binary and put into the emitter.
Graduating highschool at fourteen, he takes up hardlight hologram construction, he creates shields, containment fields, and various applications, including a replacement for non-lethal weapons.
By the time he was 18, he graduated and had multiple grants. But his world changed when he met Maria Espinosa, a supermodel from Denver, they hit it off and became husband and wife.
Then he got the opportunity, after trying to find work in Colorado, he came across an ad for a 'minion', high pay, health insurance, the works; he were to work for the vile and notorious Dr. Brainjar.
Years pass and Killian rises up to be the lead scientist for the villain, until Brainjar was killed by Galaxian, the main hero of Denver. Killian becomes Overlord Killswitch to fill the power vacuum and almost won in his goal to turn Denver into his own personal snowglobe.
But when defeated, Maria left him for Galaxian, was thrown into a rehab clinic, and after being rehabilitated, he is sent to Paragon City to help him along in his journey to being a hero he wishes he could have become back when he was younger.
