Background

Pre-Exodus

The Felyn race's early expansion in space came cross a mysterious Entity sealed in a buried cache on an abandoned moon. The Entity lured the Felyn race in with promises to aid in their push into the stars. When the Entity was unleashed the Felyn race discovered its evil nature. It swiftly spread out consuming technology and the bodies of the fallen defenders of the colonial research facility.

The battle against the entity ground on for about thirty years. As the Felyns lost ground they took increasingly drastic measures to fight against the Entity's forces, genemods, experimental weaponry, scorched earth tactics.

Xzio was born fifteen years into the war to two voidshipmen who had underwent the Stelfelyn treatment with the genetic modifications translating to her. Being on a voidship, she was largely sheltered from the horrors of the war but as the years passed even she became aware of the dire straits her people were in. She was fifteen when the leadership of the Felyn race decided that their people must flee into space or be consumed in totality by the encroaching Entity.

The Exodus fleet composed of large ark voidcraft under a large warp field projected by a central ship, with smaller voidcraft on the edges reinforcing it. They would make many jumps in random directions to throw off any potential pursuers. Xzio's parents' ship was one of the voidcraft on the edges of the field and when the fleet passed too close to a gravimetric anomoly and they suffered a warp field failure which catapulted them away from the fleet and into the depths of unknown space.

Stranded with a crippled ship and no way to return to the fleet their computer did a scan of the local planetoids in an attempt to find a suitable planet to land on. Much to the Felyn's surprise the third planet in the system was perfectly suitable for them and they were detecting radio signals coming from it...

Pre-Portal Incident

Eight years prior to the Portal incident, The Felyn refugees were met by the leaders of Earth and quietly allowed to join the human populace as "mutants" so as to not panic the public about the threat of the Entity somewhere out there in space. Initially the Felyns were grateful for the assistance but after discovering mind altering chemicals being distributed as Enriche they discretely relocated via their voidship to the Resistance settlements with many Felyns falling in with the resistance.

Zoe, which was the humanized version of Xzio, joined the Resistance not only to liberate humanity from Cole's oppressive regime, but also to protect a planet that she had come to see as her new home falling in more with the Warden's camp than the Crusaders. The Resistance eventually tapped Zoe to go into the city to act as an agent and joined Power Division under the name Starfall.

On one of her missions she ran across a strange group of people called Longbow. The Longbow's ideals lined up with the Resistance as they sought to free Praetoria from Cole's regime and Starfall was one several praetorians who assisted them. Their efforts would culminate in preventing an invasion of War Walkers into the Primal Universe. As one of the Praetorian supers who had assisted Longbow, Starfall was among the many chosen to go to the Primal Universe through a portal to drum up support for the Praetorian Resistance.

Post-Portal Incident

Unfortunately the Portal calculations from Praetoria to the Primal Universe are slightly different than the reverse. While many reached the Primal Universe safely, many ended up in the wrong place or, in Starfall's case, wrong time. For her no time had passed but for everybody else years had passed. She had shown up in an abandoned warehouse to raise relations with the Primal Universe people, only to find that the war for Praetoria had reached its cataclysmic conclusion; a phyrric victory that cost her more than time, but also her family as well.

Stranded in the Primal Universe she seeks to acclimate to her new surroundings. Currently she is working under the FBSA as a licensed hero under the name Meteor Cat (as Starfall was already claimed)

Personality

Meteor Cat comes off reserved, a habit formed from a combination of coping with the war effort on her homeworld and acting as a double agent on Praetoria. To those she feels comfortable enough around, she will open up some. Early in her life she felt that she would have to be a soldier for her people in the war against the Entity. Meteor Cat tends to be grounded with no frills, willing to consider situations shes in and not blindly act. She values loyalty and trust from others, and tries to reciprocate those values to those she feels earned it.

Powers

Variable Mass Weaponry Originally Felyn personal weaponry was similar to humans, slug throwers and energy weapons designed to take down similarly sized humanoids. The invention of Variable Mass Weaponry was designed to counter the increased mass of the Entity's forms. A specialized mass engine in the weapon allows it to adjust mass on the fly allowing a smaller user like Meteor Cat to wield it with more finesse than the size of the weapon would indicate and strike with much greater force. By adjusting the mass before the weapon hits, the user can turn what would look like a lethal blow to merely an injuring, though accidents can still happen.

Heightened Reflexes and Senses The Stefelyn serum was originally meant to be a treatment to allow the Felyn race to better resist life in the Void. As the war with the Entity broke out, the serum was cannibalized into making a supersoldier serum for combatants facing the Entity. The serum enhanced the body of the consumer with an emphasis on reflexes and senses to an incredibly heightened degree. This primarily benefited the Felyn combatants by allowing them to better evade the larger forms of the Entity's forces. The side effects of the serum was a greatly enhanced metabolism and a weakness to overstimulation. It was later discovered that those children who were conceived by those who were on the serum would have the benefits, and side effects, of the serum without the need to take it. These children were named Stefelyn after the name of the serum.
