Biography

Background

Rocksea ran away from home at 13, driven away by an abusive father* and mother too obsessed with her career to deal with raising a child. Rocksea has never revealed her real name or where exactly she came from to anyone. Thanks to a false ID and her maturity she was able to pass herself off as much older than she was. She found employment in the Pandora's Box on Talos Island.

• Her father was physically abusive, but even at a young age Rocksea was nearly invulnerable to physical harm. The final straw came when she was wandering the streets leaving her younger brother as the only target for her father's abuse. Used to the punishment he was able to deal out on his daughter he killed his son, which he then blamed on a fall down the stairs when the ambulance arrived. Police were also called to the scene. It was while the officers were taking the father's statement that Rocksea came back home. She tried to tell the officers about how her father often beat her, but without a mark on her body it was impossible to convince them that he was lying. Later that evening Rocksea decided that enough was enough. She found her father passed out drunk on the couch. Taking a cinder block that was part of a book shelf her father had slapped together she stood over her father, lifted the heavy piece of concrete over her head and let it drop on his head. She then quickly packed a few of her belongings and left home for good, age 13. (This is only known by a select few whom Rocksea trusts.)

Personality

Rocksea is a flirt by nature. She's a Goth Chick with a heart, fascinated with the Skulls' look, but revolted by their lack of regard for their fellow humans. Her favorite band is "One-Eyed Doll".

Powers

Born with near invulnerability, Rocksea's other powers developed slowly, and thanks to the guidance of her boss at Pandora's Box she kept them secret until they were powerful enough to deal with the threats Paragon City is known for. How her main powers work is unknown, the ability to create blasts of water out of thin air would seem the work of magic, but it comes from within her own genetic makeup, as does her natural toughness. She has, however, picked up some of the arcane arts during her time selling magical items.

Her innate abilities, however, do not allow her to fly*, but a simple spell and she can take to the air and travel above the traffic clogging the streets of the city below.

• Early on she tried using her water powers to create lift and fly that way, resulting in many a torn up lawn.
